Maintaining close, tight communication with the client is key to me – to ensure ideal end results. I want no less, and I don’t want to get paid before we’re there (I’m often suggested pre-payment, but I always say, let me make it right for you first, and then you can pay me…and my clients always pay me, even though the option of not doing so in case they didn’t like it is there).
What’s very common with most mastering services (especially big, expensive ones) is that you send them your mix/premaster, they do their job…and even if there’s some glaring issues in it, the mastering engineer won’t make a point about it…then you’ll get the master back and hear all the shortcomings emphasized – but the mastering engineer won’t point it out to you (I do; I always feel we’re in it together).

PRICING/INFO
• mastering: €45 per song
• mixing + mastering  from tracks: €50 hourly rate (most songs finished in 1–2 hours)
• mix + master+ document: €55 hourly rate (The song is mixed and mastered from tracks, and an explanatory video documenting the whole process is made).
• audio restoration: €45 hourly rate. Audio “repair service”: declicking, denoising, dehum and various audio repair tasks.

Customer satisfaction guaranteed: if you’re not happy, there is no charge.

Batch discounts for albums etc.  
Masters for vinyl provided on request.
VAT is only added if you are in EU.

Music production assistance videos

Been doing plenty of videos for my clients where I mix and master their songs and explain everything I do using my most trusted plugins and techniques.
I also compare the song to strong reference songs and see how it does compared to them.
On top of this, the producer can ask me questions relating to mixing/mastering/production and I’ll cover all his Qs.

Rate for this: 50 EUR per hour used (+VAT if in EU).

Love my job. Love getting geeky and nerdy. Pretty much more than a full-time thing now with mixing & mastering included, but I love it all.

Feedback from Ableton student from Singapore

Feedback from my first-ever international Ableton tuition student. Jason came to Finland from Singapore only to learn Ableton Live to make D&B and hip hop.
We did around 25 hours.
He had no previous experience, and now he’s working on his first songs.
Love teaching Ableton stuff.
