Crusty-ass DS165

A crusty new jungle track for ya.
Soundcloud link / Bandcamp link / Youtube

It’s a nudge towards the old days when crusty breaks and beats were kings and when the production was not über-polished. The vibe mattered.
Akai samplers doing the beats, Moog Minitaur doing the bass.
Inspired to a great extent by the Droppin Science label.
Contains samples from Bill Murray and Yona.

If it’s nice, give it a price.
If it’s not, well, then I suck.

Written, mixed and mastered by yours truly.

Bandcamp vinyl upload

I added a bunch of my old vinyl releases as rips on my Bandcamp today.
Some of those releases are pretty hard to find, so getting a vinyl rip is the closest you may get to “the real thing”.

Fanu x Sarah Kivi (download)

Here’s a fresh remix I did for Sarah Kivi, a Finnish artist whose music I like a lot.
Grab it, and feel free to share it if you like it.
Also, make sure to Google her and check out her music; I bet you’d like it even if you don’t understand Finnish. She’s great.
In addition to Soundcloud, you can also DL the remix from my Bandcamp page.

Strange Lights album (free download)

So here it is. The fifth / sixth album by yours truly, depending on how you count it.
Daylightless, Homefree, Serendipity, Departure, and Lodge, if you want to count that one in. And now, Strange Lights.

What to say to kick this off with? Actually it seems I have a shitload to say, so let’s do this. Get some coffee or a beer or something to make it thru the whole damn thing.
But if you ain’t into reading, it’s fine, here’s all relevant links so you can grab the music:
Bandcamp page (lets you download it)

direct wav download

[btw, that dope-as-heck artwork was done by Lonekink so hit him up!]

FatGyver album out now

Hello, everybody! I’m happy to let you know that my hip hop debut album, “Talk To Strangers”, as FatGyver is out today.

It’s a project that was on the back of my mind for a while: to get busy with the sort of hip hop beats I’ve always loved – 90s east coast style stuff – because that’s what’s even shaped my D&B aesthetics a bit. Continue reading FatGyver album out now
