The main theme for this one is music by great, talented guys you probably haven’t heard that much of. Being a DJ, I’m in a privileged position, since I constantly get sent music by both established artists and labels as well as those who haven’t released much music or/and who are spending their first years with music production. It’s often in the music of artists (if you keep making art and love it, you’re an artist in my book…I don’t measure success) who haven’t been making music for very long where you hear something very fresh, something you probably haven’t heard very many times before. So here we are with brand spanking new episode of the Breaks ‘N’ Beats Podcast series!
As I kicked it off two months ago, it was my plan to do this every two months or so, so recently I started getting the itch to record a mix, and this is the result.

At this point I also want to say that I’m super hyped about how well the first episode was received, so thanks to all for that.
I’m eager to continue the series, so here we go! (also don’t miss the little merch giveaway this time, which is at the bottom of the post)
As I said, the main focus will be on drum and bass as that is my main love, but there will be other stuff coming, and the next episode or two will be about downtempo and hiphop.

I love coffee. And, let me admit I love beats, too.

What coffee and beats have in common, in my case, is that I can’t go one day without a good dose of them.
I do have a healthy addiction to caffeine, and I’m a beat junkie – I need that shit.
I have inside of me a huge, burning passion for music with dope beats.
Whatever genre, I don’t care – if the beats are fat and kind of dirty, I’m gonna love it.
